EUROPE DAY IN MADRE MARÍA ROSA MOLAS SCHOOL
“Slovenian” boys and girls lived their celebration
“Slovenian” boys and girls lived their celebration
Last week, 3rd ESO students visited Pre-school and Primary school children to celebrate a very special day, Europe.
We spent a week teaching them the typical events of a country of the European Union (food, dance, flag, anthem, songs ...) We had a fantastic time. I don’t know who had a better time if we or the children.
On Tuesday 12th May, our school had a special celebration. 2nd ESO pupils danced “Europe’s living a celebration”, which Rosa had sang in Eurovision contest in 2001. I had taught the song and the lyrics, which the “Slovenian” boys of my class learned really fast and spectacularly well. On Tuesday 12, we only had to choose two representatives from each class to stick their country shape on a Europe map. It was a totally unforgettable experience.
